In our workshop we create everyday objects (bags, wallets, aprons, key chains…) made of recyclable materials and refugee boats.
Our aim is to supprt people belonging to vulnerable social groups regardless of nationality and religious beliefs. We train them in the field of sewing and create jobs so that through this joint effort they can get back on their feet! The education we offer leads to integration as Greeks and refugees work and socialize together.. Our aim is also to use plastic wich has created a major ecological problem in recent years..
So in collaboration with organizations from Chios island, we received life jackets and plastic boats that cross the Aegean Sea. After cleaning and cutting them into pieces we used our imagination and created beautiful items!!
Each piece is unique and keeps a special story, made with passion reminds us of people’s hope for a new life!
